βαλανεΐον — Ancient Greece + Mythology
The Ancient Greeks used Balaneion / βαλανεΐον (baths) of mineral salts for healing and clay water or epsom salts for drawing toxins from the body. Infusing baths with Bay Laurel leaves stimulated circulation and relieved rheumatic aches and pains. A bath in lavender scented water soothed the nerves.
The Greeks recognised that cleanliness was essential to health. Bathing, caring for the body and keeping it in optimal shape were all ways to pay tribute to the gods. Hippocrates recommended daily bathing and massage with fragrant oils.
Bathing became a way of life for Greeks, an art form celebrated in beautiful buildings.

Fill the bath with warm water and place the bath cube in, watch it dissolve, and wash your baby in this pure Greek balaneion.
